It was time again to kick the season off with the Avon, Devon and Cornwall and Wessex Inter-regional Challenge match. This year, 2005, it was Wessex who hosted the day at Blandford Forum. A great day was had by all and it was Wessex who took home the trophy which was presented to them by last years winners, Avon.
